What happens in a candle making workshop
Scent blending
Choose from 20–40 fragrance oils and blend your own signature scent. Instructors guide you on proportions and top/middle/base note combinations.
Wax prep & pouring
Melt soy wax to the correct temperature (55–65°C), add fragrance at the right stage, and pour into your container. Timing and temperature matter.
Wick placement
Centre the pre-tabbed wick before the wax sets. Most studios use wick bars or a pencil-and-tape method. A centred wick means an even burn.
Cooling & labelling
Your candles cool and set over 30–60 minutes while you work on others or relax. Most studios let you personalise labels before you leave.
